15/16 Chamber Luncheon Series - Champions of Agriculture

Hear from Christine Wentworth, Vice President of Agriculture, North America for McCain Foods; the world's largest producer of frozen potato products and appetizers. She is responsible for field to factory operations for potatoes, onions, peppers and other vegetables across the US and Canada as well as continuous improvement initiatives in agriculture such as sustainability and variety development.

The Champions of Agriculture Luncheon provides positive information about modern agriculture to the business community. Hear insight of current agricultural developments and the greater affects on industry.

This event will be related to the Harvesting Value Conference on opportunities in value added agriculture, which will bring the Westman community together to explore and encourage collaboration between Manitoba entrepreneurs, businesses, researchers and investors to expand the processing of Manitoba agricultural products.

Hylife pork loin basted in raspberry wine with a Rigby Orchards raspberry wine reduction served with McCain mashed potatoes and Peak of the Market roasted parsnips. Served with Pizzey flax rolls, followed by individual chocolate cakes with raspberries featuring Rigby Orchards raspberry coulis for dessert
