Employment Advisor / CSR

Career & Employment Youth Services is hiring an Employment Advisor / Client Services Rep for our HEY program.  This provincially funded contract runs from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
 
As the first contact for persons coming into the office, some of your responsibilities would include:

• Greet the public, providing information on CEYS and the services we offer
• Assisting clients with resume and cover letter development, interview prep and job search assistance
• Offer labour market information, connect with Brandon businesses
• Maintain accurate notes and statistical data

• Able to supply Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry checks
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, designing or editing office documents
• Comfortable working with computer applications, Microsoft software and the Internet.
• Skilled in interpersonal relationships:

• interacting with youth from a variety of backgrounds and situations
• an ability to work closely with others
• to listen and provide input and give feedback
• to relate positively with a wide variety of clients and the general public
