Overview
JCJ Residential Services is a locally owned residential services company in Brandon, MB, known for quality workmanship and a strong team culture. We are seeking a Red Seal Carpenter or skilled multi-trade technician who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is interested in long-term growth within a small, hands-on company.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of residential work, including carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, light electrical, doors and windows, and renovations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform residential work across multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, light electrical, doors & windows)

Follow written scopes of work and contribute to job planning

Take ownership of projects from start to finish

Support and lead labourers when required

Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites

Communicate clearly with homeowners, team members, and leadership

Track progress, materials, and time using job management tools

Deliver high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail
Qualifications

Red Seal Carpenter certification (preferred)

Experience in residential construction or renovations

Strength in at least one trade area (finish carpentry, drywall, painting, doors/windows, bathroom remodels)

Willingness to learn additional trades

Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism

Interest in leadership and project coordination

Class 5 Driver’s License
-
Comfortable using hand and power tools safely
