Sylvan Learning of Westman Grand Opening

Hi there, 

We are Joshua Malyk & Deborah Malyk, business partners in a new Sylvan Learning located in Brandon Manitoba. We opened our doors in October of last year & we are having our official grand opening on Saturday February 24th, 2024, from 11am to 2 pm. We are located inside Shoppers Mall, entrance 3 is the nearest door to us! 

We are super excited to invite you & your staff to our grand opening, we will have snacks & crafts for the young people, as well as prizes to be won.
 We would love for you to come take a tour in our space. 

Sylvan learning is having a birthday this year, celebrating 45 years of providing individualized supplemental learning to many children & young people. Joshua was one of those successful students who learned & used his gained knowledge to excel in his education. Joshua furthered his knowledge with helping other young people, gaining a Child & Youth Care certificate, while providing many years of support to youth at risk as well as continuing his Sylvan journey as a teacher with the Sylvan Learning in Winnipeg Manitoba. Joshua’s Mom, Deborah has first hand seen the magnitude of Sylvan’s support & watched her Son go through the motions that Sylvan has in place for each child to succeed further with their education. With that, both Joshua & Deborah are extremely excited to open the doors to Brandon/Westman’s first Sylvan Learning to be able to provide that extra support to young people. Sylvan’s method has proved over the years that not only does it work, but it is also adaptable as needed & as seen through Covid 19. Due to the pandemic, the number of students has risen & that is seen much in the Westman region with limited educational supports until now.
