Please join us for the opening of Nostagliacore, a faculty art exhibition at the Glen P. Sutherland Gallery on Thursday, January 18th from 5 - 7:00pm. We are proud to present the first faculty group show at the Sutherland Art Gallery, featuring exciting new works by Professors Lisa Wood, Kevin McKenzie, Lin Xu and Kevin Ei-chi DeForest, curated by their newest colleague art historian, Dr. Stacey Koosel. Nostalgiacore is a contemporary art exhibition that features paintings, ceramic sculptures, photography, drawings, sound installations and immersive installations by the Professors who make up the faculty of the IshKaabatens Waasa Gaa Inaabateg Department of Visual Art at Brandon University. The exhibition opening is a public event with food and drink, and the artists in attendance to celebrate the first exhibition of the new year at the Sutherland P. Art Gallery located on Brandon University Campus (2021 Victoria Ave, Brandon). Gallery entry and parking is on the north side of the building facing the Healthy Living Centre. The exhibition will be open to the public from: Thursday to Saturday, 1:00pm – 4:00pm, and will run from January 18th to Sunday, February 18th.
