An inspirational night infused with unforgettable luxury
In light of the continued escalation of COVID-19 in Manitoba, Assiniboine is taking proactive, prudent measures consistent with the Province’s recommendations for educational institutions and to support our provincial health care system.
Effective immediately through to April 30, 2020, college-hosted events with more than 50 guests are cancelled. As such the college’s Legacy Gala dinner scheduled for March 19th will be cancelled.
Held in Assiniboine Community College's beautiful heritage building at our North Hill campus, students in the Culinary Arts and Hotel & Restaurant Management programs work together to put on an exquisite evening of food and wine. Guests are treated to an exclusive eight-course menu with carefully selected wine pairings at each course. Complimentary in-town car service is provided by our polished Police Studies program students.
Proceeds from this year’s Legacy Gala Dinner will support the Global Citizenship fund, which assists those who might otherwise be unable to afford to participate in an international experience. Our goal is to have students graduate with knowledge, skills and abilities that prepare them for career-related employment, lifelong learning and active citizenship. Assiniboine has identified opportunities that provide a meaningful way for students to develop a global perspective: short-term study abroad opportunities called Global Citizenship Immersions.
