Discovering Polish Ancestry

Join us on March 1, 2025, at Daly House to listen to Frank Cedar, the visionary behind the "Who's In That Photo" exhibition. Frank will share his enthralling journey to discover the history of the early Polish community in Brandon, which began with a trip to Kaszyce, Poland, and a World War II monument. This project allowed him to gather an impressive collection of over 50 photographs showcasing the first Polish settlers in Brandon and Melville, Saskatchewan. These images are currently exhibited at the Daly House Museum until April 30th. Not only will Frank Cedar share this captivating story, but he will also provide valuable tips on tracing your Polish ancestry, helping you uncover the stories and lives of your ancestors. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from Frank Cedar on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Daly House Museum between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. Please ensure you RSVP by Friday, Feb. 28th, by calling 204-727-1722 or emailing dalymuseum@wcgwave.ca.
