Accounts Receivable tells you how much of your cash flow is held up in unpaid client invoices. It is the lifeline of a business's cash flow. It helps with cash flow management by telling you which clients owe you money, and how much. This let's you discern whether your cash account accurately reflects your current financial standing. 

In other words, accounts receivable makes the difference between worrying that you don't have enough money, and staying calm in the knowledge that money will come soon. 

In this workshop, Pamela Smith - Owner and General Manger of Trend Collection and Bailiff Services Ltd - will guide us through the ins and outs of managing your accounts receivable and will cover the following topics: 

1. How to avoid having accounts receivable
2. How to handle accounts receivable before it becomes a problem 
3. What to do when the accounts receivable has been outstanding over 90 days

Pamela Smith is the Owner and President of Trend Collection and Bailiff Services Ltd., founded in Brandon.  Pamela fell in love with the prairies 30 years ago and has made western Manitoba her home on a farm north of Ninette.  Having built a unique set of legal, administrative and collections expertise, she has been an owner at Trend Collection and Bailiff Services Ltd. since 2006. Now recognized as one of the largest bailiff companies in Manitoba, Trend has grown exponentially under her leadership in the last 16 years. 

Pamela believes in a compassionate business approach, bringing kindness and respect to all areas, whether it be in business or to causes in the greater Manitoba community such as Ronald McDonald House or charities dealing with homelessness.
