Join us for an evening of impact at the Foundation Legacy Gala Dinner in support of our students.
The evening features an exclusive dining experience hosted by our talented Culinary Arts, Baking Foundations and Hospitality students. Guests are treated to a gourmet multi-course menu with wine pairings at each course. Complimentary in-town car service is provided by our polished Public Safety Studies program students.
This year, the evening is dedicated to supporting women in the college’s Public Safety Advanced Diploma program. Your presence at this event will contribute to building a scholarship fund that will help prepare graduates to become a superior candidate in a highly competitive recruiting process for police or other public safety agencies.
Women are currently under-represented in policing, and appropriate representation in this profession is integral to the future of public safety. The 30x30 pledge is a North American initiative to advance women in policing that aims to increase the representation of women in police recruit classes to 30% by 2030. The Brandon Police Service, a partner in our Public Safety program, is among five police agencies in Canada to join the pledge. We’re proud to support this initiative by creating awards for women looking to enter this field, reducing the financial barrier to training.
By generously supporting this event, you are investing in education, safety, and the empowerment of women pursuing specialized knowledge to make a difference in our communities.
